How We Verify

Last updated: July 2026

Accuracy is the whole point of a calculator. Here is exactly how every AZCalK tool is built and checked before — and after — it goes live.

1. Documented Formulas

Each calculator starts from a clearly documented formula sourced from authoritative references. The logic is data-driven and transparent, never a black box.

2. Tested Against Trusted Sources

Before publishing, every calculator’s result is compared against hand calculations and trusted references for known inputs. Anchor values must match exactly.

3. A Real Worked Example

Each page shows a genuine worked example computed by the same engine you use — so the method and the numbers are verifiable on the page itself.

4. Automated Regression Checks

Our calculators are protected by an automated test suite that locks in known-good results. If a change would alter a verified value, it is caught before release.

5. Ongoing Review

Rates, tax rules, and formulas change. We review and update affected calculators, and we investigate every reader-reported issue under our Corrections Policy.

Found a Problem?

If a result looks off, tell us at azcalkulator@gmail.com with the page URL and your inputs. We investigate every report.
